The Longines Spirit Adventure in 37mm

Longines Spirit now also comes in a 37 mm version. On a steel bracelet or leather strap, it is available with a new sunray champagne-coloured dial as well as with the emblematic blue and black versions. New models to slip onto the wrist of every man or woman with an adventurous spirit.

With its neutral shades and clean, uncluttered lines, the Longines Spirit collection has made the expertly executed detail the signature of a perfectly balanced design. No detail has been left to chance. In a new 37 mm size, Longines is giving its Longines Spirit line all the attitude and elegance of a watch that is ready to follow you in all your adventures. With its steel tones, it recalls the zinc of the aeroplanes in which the greatest explorers roamed the world freely and with determination. A watch for all-time heroes, today’s pioneers, exceptional women and men who surpass themselves, who have made adventure and passion more than just dreams. A state of mind, an attitude, which they express with a Longines watch on their wrist.

In a 37 mm size, for wearing by both women and men, Longines presents three new models on a steel bracelet or leather strap, with a dial in sunray blue, matt black or an all-new shade: champagne. A new warm, luminous dial with a captivating sunburst effect that goes perfectly with the circular and horizontal brushed steel of the case and bracelet.

The very pronounced notched crown recalls the origins of this pilot watch and its original functional character. The dial now displays the date centred at 6 o’clock for an even more harmonious aesthetic, while retaining the collection’s characteristic features, such as the 5 appliqué stars which recall a tradition of the Longines workshops: the more stars a watch has (up to 5), the more reliable its calibre. The new Longines Spirit thus travels to the rhythm of the L888 calibre, a self-winding mechanical movement with COSC-certified precision, a silicon balance-spring and a 72-hour power reserve. A watch that follows you in your adventures, even in the adaptability of its interchangeable strap.

For a more casual style, it can also be worn on a leather strap with white topstitching, in beige for the champagne dial, brown for the black dial and tone-on-tone for the blue version. So, are you ready to explore the world in utter elegance?

About Longines

Longines Watch Co. Francillon Ltd. has been based in Saint-Imier (Switzerland) since 1832. Its watchmaking expertise reflects a strong devotion to tradition, elegance and performance. In its early days, the firm was run by Auguste Agassiz and was a “comptoir” or trading office like many others in the area. The watches were produced under the “établissage” system, whereby watchmakers worked at home. In 1867, Ernest Francillon, Agassiz’s nephew and successor decided to abandon this production method and he brought together the different stages that go toward making a watch under one roof. The Longines factory was born. From then on, the factory in Saint-Imier steadily developed and produced many horological creations that gained international recognition. Longines was rewarded by various prizes, which gradually gave the company its reputation of winning the most awards in international and world exhibitions. In 1889, Francillon patented a trademark comprising the name Longines and its now famous winged hourglass. Longines also made a name of itself in sports timekeeping and designed timing equipment that gained the brand a worldwide reputation. Using its expertise, the brand established a network of advantageous links with the world of sport, which enabled it to offer its skilled services to various prestigious sports.
