Longines Record Heritage
The first chronograph in the eponymous collection.

Longines is reinventing itself again and again in its 190th anniversary year: a design with a vintage aesthetic has now been added to the Record collection, giving it its first tachometer chronograph.
Resolutely classic, the Record collection is emblematic of the watchmaking expertise of the winged hourglass brand. Through its new Record collection, Longines gives full expression to its characteristic excellence and timeless elegance. Today, the brand’s watchmakers, masters of time measurement, are supplementing this collection with a new tachometer chronograph with a distinctive vintage aesthetic.

The Record Heritage in a simple stainless steel round case that is 40 mm wide and just 13.80 mm thick. The polished and slightly bevelled bezel encloses the slightly domed sapphire glass, covered with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating.
The dial is matt black. Elegant golden Arabic numerals mark the even hours, while slender overlaid indexes mark the odd hours. The absence of a date window gives greater prominence to the seconds subdial, placed at 3 o’clock, and the 30-minute counter, placed at 9 o’clock. The tachometer scale is positioned on the outside of the dial for better visibility. Already enhanced by these aesthetic characteristics, the vintage spirit of the Record Heritage is reinforced by the slim rectangular pushers.
A silicon balance spring drives an exclusive Longines movement that is anti-magnetic. This calibre is chronometer-certified by the COSC, thus guaranteeing precision and reliability. Visible through the transparent case back, it drives the slender, simple, golden leaf-shape hands.
The first chronograph in the Record collection, this new timepiece is worn with a stainless steel bracelet or a brown leather strap with ecru stitching. The Record Heritage’s elegant style, meticulous finishing and technical excellence mean that it will look equally good on a man’s or a woman’s wrist. So, are you ready to measure time too?
